Dr. Andrea Auxier is CEO and Co-Founder of Noma Therapy. Noma provides safe and effective integrated care, including ketamine assisted psychotherapy, to people with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Previously, Dr. Auxier was President of Aware Recovery Care, a pioneering in-home addiction recovery company. Prior to that, she was in executive leadership roles both at Aware as Chief Growth Officer and at New Directions Behavioral Health, a large managed behavioral health organization, as Chief Commercial Officer. Throughout her career, she has served as a consultant for the Health Services Resources Administration’s Bureau of Primary Health Care, conducting operational site visits for over 30 Federally Qualified Health Centers in the US and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Auxier is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in PTSD as well as integrated primary care. She has contributed to the evolution of the field through research, policy work, publications, and as a speaker at various forums throughout the country. She obtained a BA in psychology from Cornell University, followed by an MA in applied psychology from NYU and an MA and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
