Kathleen Belmonte is CEO and Co-Founder of Hopewell Health, a company on a mission to make early kidney transplant the hope, goal and reality for all patients and families living with kidney disease. Over the last 20 years, Kathleen Belmonte has built a track record of success in the design, development, launch and scaling of healthcare organizations as independent start-ups and as functional verticals within existing companies. Kathleen is a transformational leader with extensive expertise in strategy development and execution as well as the optimization of organizational performance.
Prior to the co-founding of Hopewell Health, Kathleen most recently worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America, currently the world's largest fully integrated renal company, as the Chief Nursing Officer & Senior Vice President of Clinical Services. Kathleen served as COO and co-founder of Immediate Care, in the primary and urgent care sector, and Neighborhood Diabetes Shop/Insulet Corporation, in the durable diabetes medical supply sector. Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, and a master’s degree in nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGHIHP). Board-certified as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, Kathleen completed her general nursing/clinical training at Massachusetts General Hospital and affiliated outpatient medical practices. Kathleen also has a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
